April 14, 2016 Arrival in Bermuda for the Peppercorn Ceremony

Posted on by

We booked our tickets to fly in and out of Halifax. Flying out of Fredericton meant another overnight in and out of Toronto. We didn’t want to do that again but after the tickets were booked Westjet started an early flight out of Fredericton. Such is life We drove down to Halifax to visit with Norman and Sarah and he was happy to give us a early lift to the airport.

We arrived in Bermuda and we had a taxi waiting for us courtesy of our VRBO lodging. Fred had come down the day before but Marc and Sue were on our flight with Fred’s girlfriend Veronique. They needed an extra bag taken to St Georges so we took it with us. We could have taken another person and made life a little easier.

We did a shopping trip to the grocery store and got breakfast items. Bread, milk, eggs, coffee, and that kind of thing.

We had lunch at Whitehorse. Bonnie and I split at wahoo bits and they were very good. We had dark and stormys and they were nothing like I make at home not great. The rum swizzle wasn’t great either.

We(fred, marc and I) went to installed masters lodge in Hamilton at Freemasons hall Had festive board of fish sweet and sour chicken vegs caesar salad and chocolate cake. Chief of volunteer police force drove us home and dropped us off at 1145pm

I didn’t sleep well bonnie did 13 hours.
